In 2020, my house also became my office. Suddenly everyone was meeting online and the need for a mic became more important than ever. I have been getting by with my phone and the mic on my phone for the occasional meeting, but when you meet several times a day with a group of people, a good mic became a necessity. I didn't want to spend several hundred dollars on a mic, hoping that covd would end any day and I would be back in the office. The K & F Concept mic had good reviews and a good price, so I thought I would give it a shot.The mic arrived in a well packed box, with individual parts in a segmented plastic package protecting the individual parts. There was a tripod stand, an adjustable bracket to hold your phone, a bracket to hold the mic, a mic cover to reduce wind noise, the mic, an instruction manual and 2 cables - one for your phone and one for your camera. The cables have labels on each end to indicate where they should be plugged into (camera vs phone). Assembling is easy enough that I didn't open the manual.I may use it on my camera at some point, but my purpose for purchasing it was for my phone and conferencing. When I used it on my Zoom meetings, people could actually understand what I was saying!! It was nice to be able to direct the mic and the phone on the stand and not have to adjust the phone so the mic was picking me up and not the desktop fan. For the money, I really like the mic! Easy to assemble, easy to use and it sounds great!! I can't wait to try it on my camera and maybe even my PC. The mic bracket has a cold shoe that connects to the top of the camera, making it easy to use when recording videos on your camera.
